Custom Engineering & System Integration

From a process requirement to a complete working system

CrystalVision develops custom multidisciplinary systems for applications where an off-the-shelf solution is not enough.

We work with customers to turn operational or research requirements into complete working systems, integrating the engineering disciplines, hardware and software required for each application.

Projects can range from a specialized machine or research setup to a complete automated facility.

One project. One integrated system.

Talk to us about your project!

What We Do

Many of our projects begin with a requirement rather than a predefined product.

A customer may need to automate a process, measure a difficult parameter, develop a specialized machine, integrate existing equipment or build a research system that does not yet exist.

CrystalVision defines the system architecture and brings the required technologies together into one coordinated solution.

Depending on the project, our scope can include:

Mechanical design and fabrication

Control panel design and assembly

PLC programming

HMI and SCADA

Sensors and instrumentation

Robotics and motion systems

Industrial communication

Data acquisition and databases

Custom software when required

We select the components, sensors, controllers and communication technologies according to the application rather than working with a fixed technology stack.

Mechanical fabrication and assembly may be carried out in-house or through specialized subcontractors, while CrystalVision remains responsible for the overall integration of the system.

From Concept to Commissioning

CrystalVision can take full responsibility for a project from initial specification to a commissioned working system.

Requirements & System Characterization

Understanding the process, operating conditions, research goals and technical requirements.

Concept & Engineering

Defining the system architecture and developing the mechanical, control, electrical and communication solution.

Manufacturing & Procurement

Producing components in-house or through subcontractors, selecting equipment and managing suppliers and procurement.

Software & Control

PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, communications, databases and application-specific software when required.

Assembly & Integration

Connecting the mechanical, electrical, sensing, control and software elements and testing them as one system.

Installation & Commissioning

On-site installation, testing, calibration and final system handover.

Training & Support

Operator training, documentation and ongoing technical support.

CrystalVision has been developing and integrating custom automation systems since 2011.

Where We Work

Our custom engineering projects are primarily developed for:

Agriculture

Aquaculture

Research Facilities

Industrial Automation

Projects have included automated irrigation and fertigation systems, robotic machines, environmental monitoring systems, research facilities, aquaculture automation and complete industrial control systems.

CrystalVision’s irrigation systems, for example, have integrated pumps, valves, fertigation equipment, weighing systems and a wide range of sensors into customer-specific control systems.

Long-Term Service & Support

Our involvement can continue well beyond commissioning.

CrystalVision provides service agreements that may include:

Preventive maintenance

Remote technical support

Troubleshooting

System modifications

Software updates

Integration of additional equipment

Expansion of existing systems

This allows custom systems to evolve together with the customer’s operation or research requirements.
