Lysimeter for the Farmer

As a result of the scarcity of water for irrigation around the world and a fear of ground water pollution, Crystal Vision is developing a lysimeter suited to field conditions.  It will be used as an information gathering tool by the farmer as a basis for making educated decisions about more efficient use of water and fertilizers. 

Automated Feed System for the Fish Industry 

Crystal Vision has developed a feeding system for large scale fish operations designed to save significant amounts of manpower. The system receives a "feeding program" and implements it with the help of a robot which distributes the feed and is guided by an overhead track above the tanks.  The system is controlled remotely by computer and a graphic interface known as Crystal OPC. 

Fish Sizing and Sorting Using Computer Vision 

At this moment, Crystal Vision is developing an automated, mechanical system for sizing and sorting tropical fish using computer vision.  Such a system will significantly lighten the grower's work load and allow them to carry out their job with a minimum investment of time and manpower.
